Women's Basketball Head to the RSC Semifinal Round Following Win Over Midway

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University Women’s Basketball team is headed to the RSC Tournament Semifinals for the first time (excluding the COVID-19 year when all teams made the postseason) since the 2015-16 season. The Lady Bearcats defeated Midway 86-73 to advance to the RSC Semifinal round.
Women's Basketball Set to Host Midway in RSC Tournament Quarterfinals

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University Women’s Basketball team is set to host the River States Conference Tournament Quarterfinals against Midway University Eagles Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6pm CT in The Den. This is the first time since the 2020-21 season that the Lady Bearcats have hosted the RSC Quarterfinals where they defeated IU Southeast to advance to the Semifinals. Prior to that season, BU had not hosted since the 2015-16 season against Point Park.
Women's Basketball Secures #2 Seed in Win Over IU Southeast

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University women’s basketball team avenged their loss to the Grenadiers of IU Southeast to secure the #2 seed in the West Division with a final score of 68-61. The Lady Bearcats extended their overall record to 17-8 and River States Conference (RSC) record to 9-6.
