Bearcats Sweep IU Columbus on the Road

COLUMBUS, In. – The Brescia University baseball team extended their overall record to 17-9 and conference record to 5-7 following the three-game sweep of IU Columbus on the road. The Bearcats scored double digit runs in all three contests as the offense gears up to face Rio Grande this coming weekend.
Bat Cats Sweep Montreat at Home

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team swept the visiting Cavaliers of Montreat College at home this past weekend in a three-game series. The Bearcats took game one of the day in dramatic fashion in a 9-8 walk-off win. In the series finale, the bats exploded as BU took the 10-7 win, extending their overall record to 12-7.
Baseball Grabs Comeback Win in Series Opener

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team kicked off their series against Montreat College with a 10-8 comeback win. The Bearcats extended their record to 10-7 overall with two more games to play in the series.
Baseball Splits with Bears on Day Two of Conference Action; First No Hitter

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team split with Shawnee State on day two of their conference opener. After taking the 16-5 loss against the Bears Saturday evening, the Bearcats bounced back on Sunday with a 10-0 win in game one and then a close 8-4 loss to end the series. The pitching duo of Dylan Warda and Jonny Foti in game two was the first no hitter dealt within the BU baseball program (since digital stats were recorded in the 2004 season). The Bearcats extended their overall record to 7-3 and River States Conference record to 1-2.
Baseball Splits with Campbellsville on the Road

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Brescia University Baseball team split a pair of a games on the road at Campbellsville University. The Bearcats took game one with a final score of 3-0 as the Tigers bounced back to take game two, 4-1. BU improved their record to 6-1 on the season following the matchup.

HUNTSVILLE, Al. – The Brescia University baseball team opened their season at Oakwood University where they grabbed two wins against the Ambassadors. They start the season 2-0 following the victories.
