After an exciting 5-3, extra inning win Sunday night, the Bearcats looked to take the series in day two. The RedStorm got on the board first in the bottom of the first with a one-run single to center field. Rio then added three more runs in the bottom of the third to extend their lead to four. BU finally got the offense moving in the top of the seventh on a Bryce Gamble double to left field. Houston Flynn chipped a ball into right field to score Gamble from second to cut the Rio lead in half. The third and final run for the Bearcats came off the bat of Miguel Marcos with his single down the right field line.

Unfortunately, the RedStorm surged away in the eighth with six more runs as they closed out game one with the 10-3 win.

Dylan Warda earned the loss on the bump to extend his record to 3-2 in his two innings of work.

With the series split, the Bearcats looked to steal the series in the third and final game. The offense exploded in the fifth and sixth innings tacking on seven more runs to put them up 10. The RedStorm found some offense in the bottom of the sixth, pushing three runs across the plate. In the final inning, BU continued to drive in runs as they added four more to secure the win.
