Lady Bearcats Dominated Crimson Pride to Improve to 2-0

COLUMBUS, In. – In their return to action following the Christmas break, the women's basketball team hit the road for the conference campaign against IU Columbus. The Bearcats dominated the Crimson Pride in a 74-47 road win to go 2-0 in conference play.

BU outscored IUC in every quarter of this matchup as every player saw some minutes. Jenna Krampe would kick off her high scoring performance by making the first backet of the day. BU's stifling defense led to missed baskets by the Crimson Pride as a Hailee Johnson three led to an 11-2 Bearcat run. Eleven of Krampe's 19 points came in just the first quarter as her teammates fed her the ball in the paint as she made up most of the 30 paint points for BU. The Bearcats led in almost every category as they outrebounded, outscored, and outshot the Crimson Pride in the win.

Krampe led all scorers with 19 points and 11 rebounds for her fifth double double of the season. Hailee Johnson and Graci Risley added 18 off the bench as they combined for five threes.

The Bearcats will return home next Wednesday, Jan. 8th to take on the visiting IU Kokomo Cougars at 5:30pm in the Moore Center Gym.
