Bulldogs Complete Comeback Win Over Bearcats

LOUISVILLE, KY – This past Monday, the BU men's soccer team closed out their non-conference schedule against Boyce College on the road. The 6-2 Bulldogs were able to pull off the comeback win to hand the Bearcats their seventh loss of the season thus far. BU extended their record to 1-7-2 as they start conference play.

The first goal of the match came off the foot of Pau Gelabert in the 29^th minute on the assist from Katai Mukuka. Although being in goal that last few games, Gelabert got some field action to score his first goal of the season. The Bearcats led the Bulldogs going into the second half until Boyce knotted the score at one in the 45^th minute.

The matchup continued to intensify as each team needed to net the game winner. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs scored their second goal in the 65^th minute to take the lead. The Bearcats struggled to equalize despite the chances to take the 2-1 loss on the road.

Finn Martin picks up his fourth loss in goal for BU as the Bearcats look forward to conference play.

BU is set to host IU Columbus this coming Thursday to start conference play with a kickoff time of 6:30pm CT.
