Match one: Rio Grande 3 Bearcats 0

Set one started off red hot as both teams battled to the end of each point. The Redstorm quickly took the advantage as they took a 5-1 lead. A kill by Francisca Sousa flipped the narrative for the Bearcats as they took advantage of miscues by the Rio Grande offense. BU continued to go point for point until and attack error ended the set at 28-26. Set two seemed like a continuation of the end of set one as the Bearcats fought with the Rio front line. Ultimately, the Redstorm took set two at the attack errors by the BU offense caught up at the end. The Bearcats struggled to put the ball on the floor in set three as Rio Grande took the match in three.

Callie Mason led the offense with 12 kills on 34 chances while Jasmin Jones followed with eight of her own.
