Poon Seals the Road Win for the Bearcats, 3-2

MIDWAY, KY – The loss from last year has been avenged as the Bearcats go into Midway to take the road win, 3-2. The victory evens BU's conference record at 2-2. 

In this back-and-forth shootout, the Bearcats battled hard for the road win. Despite the Eagles taking the lead in the 29^th minute, BU answered right back a minute and 23 seconds later to even up the score. Evangalene Farfan gave the Bearcats the lead in the 57^th minute on the wide-open shot down the middle of the field. Of course, the Eagles took no time to tie the match for the second time off a corner kick.

Victoria Poon sealed the match in the 75^th minute as the Bearcats hold on to take the 3-2 win on the road.

The Bearcats will head to Evansville, IN this coming Thursday to take on the Oakland City Mighty Oaks with a kickoff time of 7:30pm.
