Women's Soccer Takes 1-0 Loss in Tough Battle to Grace

OWENSBORO, KY – The Brescia University women's soccer team took a tough loss to the Lancers of Grace College in a 1-0 decision. The Lady Bearcats start the 2024 campaign 0-1.

Not a whole lot of action in this tough battle against the Lancers as Grace takes the 1-0 win avenging their loss to the Bearcats last season. The Bearcats struggled to control the ball on the offensive side of the field as they held Grace scoreless through the first 45 minutes. The first goal of the match came in the 71^st minute off a deflected shot from the Lancers giving them the 1-0 advantage. The unlucky goal sealed the fate of the match as the Bearcats pick up their first loss of the season.

The Bearcats travel to Palos Heights, IL to take on Trinity Christian this Saturday, Aug. 24^th, with a start time of 2:30pm CT.
