Bearcats Tee Off Season Opener

The Brescia University Women's Golf Team kicked off the fall campaign with a one day 36 hole event hosted by Indiana Wesleyan at Arbor Trace Golf Club. The firm course coupled with late afternoon showers was a little more than expected but all five ladies can take positives from this one. Despite a few early season nerves the ladies handled the tricky layout quite well. Coach Cox is quoted " They handled the tough shots with ease and made the easy shots seem difficult at times. Golf is trying at times and easier at other times, we will learn and be ready for the next one".

The Lady Bearcats shoot 342/347 for a fifth out of six teams today at the IWU Fall Invitational lead by Meredith Mayes 82/82 which placed her 14th overall.
