Women's Golf Finishes 6th At Conference Championship
FLORENCE, Ind. -- Midway (Ky.) University made it a wire-to-wire win and claimed its fifth consecutive River States Conference Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday from Belterra Golf Club.
Brescia University's Brooklyn Spicer wins the Champions of Character award for the BU Bearcats at this weeks Conference Championships. Meredith Mayes grabs second team All Conference with her 14th place finish at the Conference Championship. Both Brooklyn and Meredith as juniors will re-group and be ready for this coming fall as their senior campaign will be in full swing.
Coach Jason Cox is quoted" I am very proud of how the team handled the adversity of the season dealing with the pandemic. They are displaying a consistency that we can build on moving into next season and that is exciting."
