Lady Bearcats Routed by Midway in Conference Loss

In the first quarter, Lindsey Peyton would get the offense started with a layup in the paint. The Eagles would rebuttal with a two-point shot themselves to knot the score. Midway would surge out on a 16-4 run to end the first quarter as they lead the Bearcats, 19-12. Turnovers and missed shot opportunities for the Bearcats would prevent them from stringing enough points together for a comeback in the first half. Midway would hold a commanding lead coming out of the locker rooms as the Bearcats looked to connect offensively. Unfortunately, the Bearcats continued to struggle as the Eagles walk away with a 77-50 win.

Genesis Ghide-Bryan led the offense with 12 points on 4-9 shooting and 4-6 from the charity stripe. Lindsey Peyton followed behind with 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Lady Bearcats take the court in Mckenzie, TN on Tuesday Dec. 12^th at Bethel with a tipoff time of 6 pm CT.
