Men's Soccer Struggles to Equalize Against Midway

OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Brescia University men's soccer team dropped their sixth RSC matchup against Midway this past Thursday, 2-0. The Bearcats extend their overall record to 1-12 and 1-5 in conference play.

In the beginning of the match, both teams would take their fair share of shots. It wasn't until the 25^th minute of that match that Midway scored their first goal of the night on a ball shot from the top of the box. The Bearcats kept the Eagles scoreless for the rest of the first half before heading into the locker room. BU looked to equalize in the second half, but the Eagles would net another goal in the 82^nd minute to pull away. Ultimately, the Bearcats struggled to find opportunities as they dropped another conference matchup in the loss, 2-0.

Chase Garrett would get his fourth loss of the season between the posts while recording three saves on five shots.

The Bearcats head to Richmond, IN to take on IU-East for their next conference matchup on Saturday with a kickoff time of 3:30 pm CT.
