OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University men's soccer team failed to score in the shutout against WVU Tech, 4-0. The boys fall to 1-8 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
The struggles continued for the boys on the pitch as they relinquish their first goal in the 28th minute as the Golden Bears take a one-goal lead. The Bearcats were able to keep the Golden Bears to just one goal before halftime. Although outshooting the Golden Bears by one in the first half, WVU Tech would flip the script in the second half by outshooting the Bearcats, 17-5. Ultimately, the Golden Bears scored three more goals in the second half to take the match 4-0.
The Bearcats take the pitch again Tuesday, October 3 against Harris-Stowe with a kickoff time of 5pm CT.
