Munger Finishes 5th As Bearcats Cruise Into 6th at RSC Fall Preview

DANIELS, WV - After a difficult first day at the Men's Golf RSC Fall Preview, the men's golf team finished 6th out of the 10 conference teams at this year's matchup. Aaron Munger led all Bearcats as he tied for 5th place out of 58 competitors. 

The Bearcats kicked off the week at the RSC Fall Preview in Daniels, WV at the Glade Springs Resort. Day one seemed difficult for the Bearcats as they finished 9th to end the day. Aaron Munger led all Bearcats tied in 8th after day one with a round one score of 74 which was just two over par. Connor Napier followed Munger with a score of 79 while Nolan Nofsinger, Josh Thompson, and Jacob Blackburn finished in the 80s.

The men were able to recover some ground in day two as they end the Preview in 6th place. Munger finished in 5th with a score of 71. Nofsinger improved in day two following with a score of 73 while Thompson and Blackburn finished with scores 76 and 74. Napier rounded out the Brescia field with a final score of 84 to end the Preview. 

The Bearcats take the course again on Oct. 28-29 for the Bill Crabtree Invitational, hosted at the Pearl Club in Owensboro, KY.
