Men's Golf Ties for 3rd at Delaware Shootout

MUNCIE, IN - The Brescia University Men's Golf team finished the Delaware Shootout tied for 3rd. Josh Thompson led the Bearcats in scoring as he finished 5th amongst the 62 other competitors. Aaron Munger resulted in the top 10 as well for the Bearcats.

Josh Thompson led the way for the Bearcats as he posted impressive scores of 73 in both rounds, just three over the course par, to land him in 5th place. Aaron Munger tied 7th with two other competitors with a score of 149, while Nolan Nofsinger finished tied 26th. Jacob Blackburn and Kellen Raymond finished tied 37th and tied 47th respectufully amongst the rest of the field. 

The Bearcats placed third out of the 11 teams in just their second tournament of the season. 

Men's Golf will head to Glade Springs Golf Course in Daniels, WV to compete in the River States Conference Fall Preview next monday, September 30th.
