BU Hires Sandy Moran as Cross Country and Track and Field Coach

OWENSBORO, Ky – Brescia University hires new cross country and track and field coach in Sandy Moran. Coach Moran has 20 years of coaching experience through many institutions across the country.

Coach Moran started her education at the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she earned her Bachelor of Science in History and Political Sciences. She then attended Campbell University in North Carolina where she earned her Master of Education in Interdisciplinary Studies. She spent four years as an assistant at three different universities: Campbell University, Southern Illinois University, and Portland State University. Coach Moran then moved on to take the head coaching position at Humboldt State University in California where she remained for six years. Sandy continued to grow her college coaching experience as she also held positions at Highland Community College, Black Hills State University, and her former institution Miami University – Ohio. Athletic Director, Mark Perdue, had these words to say about Coach Moran's hiring, "We are extremely excited to add Sandy to our department. She will bring many great qualities to our cross country and track programs. We look forward to seeing her succeed this year".

Coach Moran is currently recruiting for the upcoming class as she begins her head coaching duties.
