Bio

Coach Melton is entering his 11th season of coaching and his first year at Brescia University. After serving as an assistant coach for the Whitesville Trinity High School boys' and girls' basketball teams for 10 seasons, Coach Melton took a year off from coaching before joining the Lady Bearcats this year. He played high school basketball at Muhlenberg North High School in Greenville, Kentucky, and continued his playing career at Mid-Continent University. Coach Melton also dedicated 10 years of service to the U.S. Army, including deployments overseas during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Coach Melton has been married to Nicole Melton for seven years. They have three sons: Nolan (4), Cooper (2), and Spencer (9 months).
