Men's Volleyball Secures Sixth Seed in RSC Tournament

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University men’s volleyball team finished their regular season with a 3-0 win over IU East. They concluded the season with a 10-12 overall record and a 7-9 conference record. Following the win, the Bearcats secured the sixth and final seed in the River States Conference Tournament. BU will travel to Cumberland, TN to take on the third-seeded Phoenix of Cumberland.

MIDWAY, Ky. – The Brescia University softball team split a pair of games with River States Conference opponent, Midway, this past Saturday. The Eagles took game one with a score of 12-4 as the Bearcats bounced back and took game two 4-3. BU extended their overall record to 6-16 and RSC record to 5-11.
Bat Cats Sweep Montreat at Home

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team swept the visiting Cavaliers of Montreat College at home this past weekend in a three-game series. The Bearcats took game one of the day in dramatic fashion in a 9-8 walk-off win. In the series finale, the bats exploded as BU took the 10-7 win, extending their overall record to 12-7.

Baseball Splits with Bears on Day Two of Conference Action; First No Hitter

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University baseball team split with Shawnee State on day two of their conference opener. After taking the 16-5 loss against the Bears Saturday evening, the Bearcats bounced back on Sunday with a 10-0 win in game one and then a close 8-4 loss to end the series. The pitching duo of Dylan Warda and Jonny Foti in game two was the first no hitter dealt within the BU baseball program (since digital stats were recorded in the 2004 season). The Bearcats extended their overall record to 7-3 and River States Conference record to 1-2.
Men's Basketball Advances to RSC Semifinal Round

RICHMOND, In. – The Brescia University Men’s Basketball team broke a 10-year, post-season game losing streak as they defeated IU East on the road in the first round of the River States Conference Tournament. The 99-90-win marks the first post-season win since the 2014-15 season where the Bearcats hosted and defeated IU-Kokomo.
Women's Basketball Head to the RSC Semifinal Round Following Win Over Midway

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Brescia University Women’s Basketball team is headed to the RSC Tournament Semifinals for the first time (excluding the COVID-19 year when all teams made the postseason) since the 2015-16 season. The Lady Bearcats defeated Midway 86-73 to advance to the RSC Semifinal round.
